We include the names of parishioners, or immediate family members of parishioners, who have recently died in the intentions. Make sure we have the correct phonetic pronunciation of your deceased’s name to aid the Lector in announcing the intention at Mass. We also list these in the bulletin.
How do I have a Mass said in honor of someone?

Dates fill up quickly, so plan 9-12 months in advance if you want a specific date. We cannot schedule more than 12 Masses a year for an individual. Is there a cost to have a Mass said in honor of someone?
The suggested donation amount fixed by the Diocese is $5 for each Mass.
Are there other ways to honor someone?
You can give a monetary donation to an OLIH ministry of your choice in honor of a loved one. A list can be found in the front of this Guidebook.
Or we have a red rose placed with the statue of Our Blessed Mother Mary in our Gathering Space for one week. It has a framed citation with you and your loved one’s name; donation is $10.
