What: Casual atmosphere - come as you are and enjoy fellowship and conversation.  No RSVP need.

Bible Timeline Bible Study

What: This is the study that Fr Mike Schmitz's mentions often in the Bible in a Year podcast. In the Bible Timeline Jeff Cavins walks us through Salvation History in a way only he can do! There is so much packed in the scriptures and this study helps us to unpack. Even if you have taken this study before you would find new hidden gems every time! 

Soul Shop

What: Soul Shop workshops give us the tools needed to meet those with suicidal desperation in supportive and compassionate ways. It equips individuals with experience and knowledge that can help them to commit to have the hard conversation, ask good questions, listen with their heart, and lead a person to safety. You could consider it emotional CPR - giving emergent and lifesaving care while getting them the help they need. 

 Healing the Whole Person

When: Thursdays, September 17 through November 12 (skipping October 1), 6:30-8:30pm

What: Experience Jesus in His mission of healing! Physical, spiritual, and emotional healing, central to the Church's life and 2,000-year tradition, come to life in this series. This 8-week series of pre-recorded talks, with Dr Bob Schuchts PhD and Sr Miriam James Heidland SOLT, is based on Dr Schuchts book, Be Healed. We walk around in this life wounded and seeking healing, these weekly talks and time for reflection will help to find the deep healing that comes when we invite, and allow, the Lord to come into our wounds and heal us. These weeks will be "a journey to wholeness as we enter into the heart, face the pains and wounds within, and allow Christ's divine love to bring the healing we ardently desire." 

Christ Our Life

What: a great opportunity to gather with all your Catholic friends and family at the Casey's Center in Des Moines. Amazing Catholic presenters including Chris Stefanick, Bishop Espaillat, Fr Robert Spritzer, great Catholic vendors, and Mass, Reconciliation and Adoration! A high school and college track offered!
