The music ministry at Our Lady’s exists first and foremost to glorify God. Our ministry is guided by the teachings of Christ, and the beautiful music and traditions of his Church. Our primary role is in the context of the liturgy through sung prayer. We strive for musical excellence, realizing that beauty can help us experience God in our midst.

Cantor, Accompanist, Instrumentalist
Cantors, Accompanists, and Instrumentalists are leadership roles in the Church and these skilled individuals support the sung prayer of the assembly. These are auditioned positions and require above average skills in vocal and instrumental music technique as well as an ability to read music. CHOIRS FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND ADULTS
Magnificat Choir: The Magnificat is the main parish choir and is open to all-high school age and up. This group sings a variety of three and four-part music in classical to contemporary styles. The Magnificat Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings in the church from 7:00-8:30 pm and sings at the Sunday Masses as well as the major solemnities of the Church. Regina Coeli (Funeral Choir under the patronage of Mary, Queen of Heaven): The Funeral Choir assists our grieving families by providing music and support through sung prayer and spoken responses at the funeral liturgy. The choir is open to all people who are available during the late morning hours. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are retired, work-from-home, or participate I the home-school community. CHERUB & CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Cherub Choir: The Cherub Choir is for children in Kindergarten through Second Grade. This choir rehearse 45 minutes each week on Wednesdays during the academic year and sings at a weekend Mass one time each month. The Cherub Choir joins with the Children’s Choir to provide music for major holy days and feasts of the church. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Children’s Choir: The Children’s Choir is for children in Third through Fifth Grade. This choir rehearses on Wednesdays for one hour, from 6:15-7:15. The Children’s Choir combines with the Cherub Choir providing music at Mass once a month and for the major solemnities of the Church. Rehearsals are on Wednesday from 6:15-7:15pm in the church.
