The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men (18 years and older) based on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. The local Knights, Council 5038, serve others in the parish and beyond. For example, they raise money for individuals with developmental disabilities with their “Tootsie Roll Drive” in the fall, deliver beds to needy families in December and sponsor fish fry’s in Lent to support various organizations that ask for their help.

The Msgr. J.M. Hanson Council 5038 Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal organization that supports the parishes of OLIH, Saint Luke the Evangelist, and Saint Mary’s-Holy Cross along with the community as a whole.
Council 5038 meets the first Monday of every month in the OLIH Banquet room. Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and last approximately one hour.
Any Catholic gentleman age 18 and older is invited to join the Knights.
